Louis Fernando Gonzalez

GONZALEZ, Louis F., 96, of Tampa passed away peacefully November 30th, 2017. Born in Tampa, a World War II Veteran, served in the Eighth Airforce European Operations as a Staff Sergeant Intelligence Specialist. Retiree of Sears USA and Sears International. Member American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus Forth Degree Mexico. Enjoyed a full life, great travels, always had an interesting story to share with others and counted his blessings daily. He was a loving husband, father & Papa, Uncle and friend. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Josephine B. Gonzalez (Fina). He is survived by sons, Louis F. (Nancy) and Joseph M. (Susan); four grandchildren, Joel (Katie), Chad, Alex and Angelica; many nieces and nephews; and friends who will always remember his loving ways. A funeral Mass to celebrate his life will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 7th at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa.
