MUIR, Lori Kathryn, 59, of Tampa passed away on September 1, 2018. Born and raised in Tampa, she was a 1977 graduate of Leto High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of South Florida. Lori managed her father’s State Farm Insurance Agency for many years and was an active member of Lutheran Church of our Saviour. Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Fraser Muir; son, Scott Muir; daughter, Lindsay Wood and husband Justin; parents, Thomas and Norma Parsons; siblings, Karen Groh (Kevin), T. Kent Parsons, Jeffery Parsons, and Paul Parsons (Cheryl); granddaughter, Emma Wood; and her furry companion Stuart. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday, September 13 at the Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 14 at the Lutheran Church of our Saviour, 8401 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in Lori’s memory.
