I’m sorry.  I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you fell. I’m sorry it took me so long to get to you.  I’m sorry it took so long to get you help.  I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make everything better.  Seeing you on the floor in so much pain was awful.  Seeing what you went through every day in the hospital was agonizing.  I can’t imagine the suffering you endured those two weeks.  I can’t believe we will never go shopping together again.  I can’t believe we will never go out to eat again. I can’t believe I will never get to buy you cakes or puzzle books or cardinals again.  I’m so sorry.   I love you and miss you so much.
