Linda was a high school graduate, employed with New York Board of Education and was a devoted military wife to her husband of 50+ years, James Coleman. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, bingo and word games. Linda cared deeply for her family and helping those less fortunate. She was an extremely supportive individual with a positive attitude.
Linda Carole Coleman departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Ruskin, Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, James Coleman; Parents Arthur Osborn and Katie Ward; Guardians James and Nettie Ward; Brothers Robert, Mickey, Willie and Billy Ward; Sisters Betty, Roberta and Esther Ward and granddaughter, Saijah Coleman.
She leaves to cherish her memories…her sons, Ilee Coleman Sr. and Jomar Coleman Sr.; Nieces Akeeta, Tamika and Crystal Ward; Daughter-in-law Takoma Coleman; Brother Johnny Ward; Sisters Annette Ward and Lorraine Jackson; Brothers-in-law Riviera Coleman and Leroy Jackson; Sisters-in-law Irma and Sandra Coleman, Ernestine Ward; Grand-children Nadja Coleman, Ilee Coleman Jr. and Jomar Coleman, Jr.; closest friends Dinell Curmon, Ann Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
