Lawrence Scott Lynch, age 69, of Williamson, GA, passed away October 3, 2014. He was born in Chattanooga, TN to Thurman Scott and Mable Baker Lynch. He was a member of the Florida National Guard and retired after serving 24 years with the city of Tampa police department in 1990. He then served 16 years with the Pasco County Sherriff’s office. His hobbies included woodworking and restoring Camaros. He is survived by his spouse, Sandra; two sons, Douglas and Michael; five grandchildren, Lauren, E.J., Madeline, Cade, and Aiden; and one great granddaughter, Sophia. His two surviving sisters are Judy Hagadorn and Nancy Alderman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gold Shield Foundation at goldshieldfoundation.com.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, where funeral services will take place on Friday at 12:30PM. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery
