It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Lauren Ayres Moschenross on March 13, 2022. Lauren was a bright spark in our world, and will be dearly missed by many, especially her best friend and Mini-me, Haven Claire Taylor, her 4-year-old daughter.
Lauren was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 26, 1987, and most recently called Tampa, FL home. She is survived by her daughter Haven Claire, her fiancé Tray Taylor, her mother Sandra Bennett Ledbetter of Cookeville, TN (husband David), her brother Ian Moschenross of Grinnell, IA (wife Sarah), Lauren’s sister, Emily Boles of Carmel, IN (husband Rodney), her grandmother Claire Bennett (IN) along with the village of ladies she affectionately called her bonus moms; Mary Ellen Moschenross, Pam Miller, Tray’s mom, Lila Smith (Larry) and Annie Gallagher. Additionally, she leaves behind her besties Courtney (AZ), Emily S. (IN), Gigi (FL), Brad (TX), an all-embracing tribe of great friends, special aunts (Pam, Debbi, Julie, and Debbie), uncles (Don, Dob, Mike and Mark) cousins (Tom, Darcy, Melissa, and John), and several nieces, and nephews, all of whom adored her. Also mourning her death are Tray’s sisters, Dr. Tiffany Mayo (Jeff), Lanette and Latitia. Lauren was preceded in death by her father James G. Moschenross, and grandparents; Don and Inez Moschenross and Paul Bennett.
Lauren was a loyal, devoted, and an incredible mother to Haven. Being a mother was Lauren’s life joy, passion, and purpose. To her friends and family, she was a warm, expressive, and kind soul, selfless and caring and she brought a bright smile to everyone. She saw the magic in life with her free spirit and positive energy, and she was generous with her time and friendships. Her infectious laugh was contagious, and Lauren was blessed with an enthusiastic sense of humor. She enjoyed a great life (albeit short), and deeply loved her entire, wide range of friends
Lauren graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Hanover College in IN, and her master’s degree in Business Leadership from Grand Canyon University in AZ. She most recently worked as a Senior Sales Consultant for Angi. She was inspired by music, education, advocacy for women, and supporting impoverished children. In addition to being a doting mom to Haven, Lauren’s favorite activities included yoga, dance, plant care, DIY craft projects and time at the beach.
Contributions in Lauren's memory may be sent to Haven Claire Taylor’s 529 college savings plan. Interested donors may go online to; ugift529.com and insert the code 23281L to donate.
A celebration of Lauren’s life will take place on May 14th in Fishers, IN at The River Glen Country Club (12010 Clubhouse Drive), from 1-4 pm.
Soar high in the clouds and go dance with the Angels, sweet Lauren, and may the bright light of your life forever shine upon us.
