After a courageous battle with leukemia & with his family by his side, Kenneth Allen Zoller, age 67, was called into God’s loving embrace on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Ken was an amazing husband, a devoted dad, Papaw & friend - loved by so many. Deeply devoted to his faith, his bravery in life should be inspiring to all.
Ken was born on April 8, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clarence Andrew and Dora Frances Zoller née Woods. Graduating from Western Hills High School in 1973 and The University of Cincinnati in 1978.
Ken met the love of his life, Peggy, in 1983. Ken fell in love with Peggy & her daughter, Kara Elyse & they were married on September 13, 1986. In July of 1987, the family of three welcomed a son, Kyle Andrew. For 36 wonderful years, Ken & Peggy shared a marriage full of love, laughter, adventure & extraordinary friendship. They dedicated their lives to their family. Peggy was Ken's greatest support, biggest comfort, his truest smile, his deepest love & his forever. The best of friends.
Ken's employment in the transportation industry moved the family to Louisville, Kentucky, Washington
Court House, Ohio & finally to Indianapolis, Indiana where Ken & Peggy made their home for 28 years.
In December of 2020, Ken & Peggy finally made the move to Tampa, Florida, to be near their two children & grandchildren. From Ohio, to Indy, to Florida, Ken made so many friends along the way that he loved dearly, who loved him just as deeply.
In 2005, Ken became Papaw with the birth of his first grandchild, Jadyn Elyse. The two had an incredibly special bond, making the most incredible memories. In 2016 & 2017, God blessed Ken & Peggy with 2 more granddaughters, Savannah Blayse & Emmeline Grace. Ken was bursting with love, devoting all of his time to his 3 granddaughters, the best Papaw.
Ken enjoyed singing church hymns, his annual Lake Cumberland trip every 4th of July with his buddies & watching Ohio State Football with his son. He was a member and former Deacon of Geist Christian Church. Ken continued to watch Sunday services online throughout his battle with leukemia and enjoyed keeping in touch with Pastor Ryan Hazen.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Clarence Zoller and brother-in-law, Dennis Dulli.
He leaves to mourn his death, his beloved wife, Peggy Dulli Zoller; daughter, Kara McClellan Mize & son, Kyle Zoller; 3 granddaughters, Jadyn Mize, Savannah LeGauit & Emmeline Zoller; Two brothers, Norman (Harriett) Zoller & Ronald (Susan) Zoller; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ken & Betty Dulli; brother-in-law, Larry (Lisa) Dulli; Niece & Goddaughter, Kelly (Ron) Marshall; Nephews, David (Cheryl) Zoller and Drew (Lindsey) Zoller along with many other nieces & nephews; so many friends, new & old, all over the country.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa FL 33610. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 2 p.m.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Geist Christian Church, 8550 Mud Creek Road, Indianapolis, IN.
