Kenneth A. D. Browne

*October 30, 1957 – August 12, 2024*

Kenneth A. D. Browne, affectionately known as Ken, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on October 30, 1957, on the beautiful island of Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles, Ken was the beloved son of Dona Clara and Bertram Milton Browne.

Ken's life was enriched by the love of his family. He is survived by his cherished children, his son Kyle and his daughter Shey (Brian), and his adored grandson Khari, who brought immense joy to his life. Ken also leaves behind his previous wife, Shelly, with whom he shared many years of companionship.

Ken is remembered with love by his sister Annette and his five brothers: Milton (Robin), Walter (Evelyn), Arthur (Arlene), Maurice, affectionately known as Mikey, Franklin and Sydwin (Mabel). His life was further blessed with the presence of his former brothers-in-law, Dean (Deborah), Dana (Stephanie), and Philippe (Elizabeth), who remained close to him through the years. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends who were touched by his kindness, generosity and warm spirit.

Ken's legacy of love and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held on September 21, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 with a gathering from 11:00 am until the time of service.

In the spirit of Ken's vibrant Caribbean heritage, please wear festive colors of your choice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ken’s name to a charity of your choice.
