Kathy was born on October 10, 1945 in Ithaca, NY, to Myrtle Krull (Johnson) and Wilbur Farnsworth. Along with her brother and sister, she grew up in Delhi, NY. It was here that she met her husband and best friend of 53 years, Louis Bush.
Kathy graduated from the University of Albany, and over the years worked as a teacher, mom, administrative assistant, and paralegal. Kathy and Louis lived the last 45 years in Tampa, FL, including 10 years of retirement travelling the world. She loved sports, cruising, Alaska, restaurants, math, flowers, singing cards, a good laugh, her late dog, Gracie, and her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, James Farnsworth. She is survived by her husband Louis, son Derek Bush of Tampa, daughter Cynthia Bell of Santa Monica, CA, and sister Susan Grant of San Antonio, TX. She has three grandchildren, Jake Bush, Violet Bell, and Ivy Bell.
