Kathleen Killian Klein

KLEIN, Kathleen Killian passed away on December 1 after a long illness. She was born in 1945 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Francis and Martha Killian. She attended Holy Angles Academy in Minneapolis and Creighton University in Omaha, NE graduating with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Kathleen worked in child protection and adoption services in San Antonio, TX, Omaha, NE, and Tampa, FL. She was a devoted advocate for children in these professional positions and also a devoted mother to daughter Sarah her entire life. She was also talented in arts and crafts gaining enjoyment in these creative pursuits. Kathleen is preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Martha, is survived by daughter Sarah K Reid and granddaughter McKinley Faye Reid of Tampa, and sister Geraldine Carey of Biwabik, Minnesota. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 7 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa.
