We were asked what his hobbies were and my sister and I both replied “his work”! He was one of the finest master jewelers in Tampa and he enjoyed every minute of it. He loved getting his shoes only from Johnston and Murphy, receiving a new Swiss army keychain knife from Bridgette every Christmas, his power tools (even if he didn’t need them), he absolutely loved his guns, the freedom of America and eating ice cream!!
He was survived by two daughters, Michelle Rivera and Bridgette Rivera and three grandchildren Madison Morrow, Pierce Vatel, and Paris Vatel.
We invite you to come celebrate his life and share your stories with us on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL. If you have jewelry that he made or fixed for you, please wear it in remembrance of him.
Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.gardenofmemoriestampa.com for the Rivera-Rueda family.
