Julie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Philip Canto; children: Philip Canto, Jr. (Angel), Laura Ferrer (Will), and Jason Canto; and grandchildren: Ethan, Shane, Makenna, Jason, Evelyn, and Christian.
Julie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She loved spending time with her family, painting ceramics, gardening, and her dachshunds.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 10:00am at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home (4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610). A graveside committal service will follow immediately.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Rebecca Kapolka of Emory University Hospital and staff for their care and compassion as well as the Emory University Hospital Hospice Unit.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made to the Emory University Hospice Unit.
