KEENE, Juanita A. 92, passed away due to CHF at home with her 5 remaining children by her side on April 18, 2021. She was born to Herman and Eloie Bohannon in Tampa, FL. She was the eldest girl of 7 siblings; survived by one sibling Jeanette Oliver.
Our mother's accomplishment in her life were greater than any mom we know. She wasn't a movie star but she sure looked like one. She wasn't a teacher but she taught her children right from wrong. She wasn't the Queen of England but the Queen of Olive Jones Road the Keene household. She wasn't Julia Childs but she was considered a great cook (Fried Chicken and Mexican Food). She wasn't a millionaire but she was the richest mom because of the love of her family. She wasn't Snow White but she did meet her prince charming, Richard L. Keene Sr. and Juanita Bohannon got married on April 18, 1954. Juanita precedes Richard her husband and her eldest son, Richard Keene Jr. She wasn't a singer but she sang out and praises from her heart about her children, Paulette Bohannon, Richard Keene Jr., Jana Webb, Mark Keene, Anna Keene and Timothy Keene; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. If you put all those things together you would come up with the greatest mother anyone could want. She may not be here with us, but if you know all of her children then you know Juanita is still with us. We Love you, Mom.
