On Sunday, February 10, 2019, Juan Antonio Marrero, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away at the age of 73. He was born December 20, 1945 to the late Francisco Marrero and the late Josefina Rivera in Utuado, Puerto Rico. In 1968, he moved to New Jersey with his wife and daughter from Puerto Rico, and eventually settled down in Tampa, Florida in 1986. Juan never had idle hands; in his retired years, he spent his time cultivating his amazing garden and growing vegetables that he was so proud of. He also loved woodworking and creating things that his family could use and enjoy along with working on his truck. When he wasn't out in the yard, Juan could be found with a book in his hand or spending time with his family. He had a kind and compassionate spirit and was known for always helping those in need and touched the lives of everyone he interacted with. He was ever the jokester and loved to make people laugh with his wit and infectious smile. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rafael and his sister Zenaida. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Margarita, his loving daughter Annette Aldamuy and her husband David and his cherished grandchildren Maria Aldamuy, Alexis Aldamuy, David Aldamuy II and his adored great grandchildren Chloe and Carmelo Lord, his brothers Miguel, Damian and Jose Luis, his sister Cecelia, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and his furbabies Nora, Sonny Boy, and Susie. Juan, you will be missed and we will always carry your memory in our hearts.
