Joseph "Jay" C. Dukes, III, 40, of Tampa, FL died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Melech Hospice House. He was born on May 2, 1976 in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph C. Dukes II and Patricia M. Hartman. He is survived by brother, Barrit Dukes of Mantua, OH; sisters, Amelia Dukes of Atwater, OH and Phoebe Dukes of Streetsboro, OH; nephews and niece include, River Dukes, Rylin Dukes, Kori Stier and Adrian Smith; along with many aunts, cousins and a countless number of friends who became his family. Jay was always someone who would give anyone the shirt off his back. When he wasn’t working as a bar manager at Whiskey North he loved to golf, fish and spent countless hours playing guitar and drums. Jay will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. A visitation will be held Sunday, 4/9 from 5-7PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave in Tampa. A service will be held on Monday, 4/10 at 12PM with family accepting visitors an hour before. A graveside service will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey.
