Joseph N Greco

Greco, Joseph N., 73, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on Nov. 25, surrounded by family and friends after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. Joe had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He showed love and concern for everyone and lit up the room with his smile and laughter. He lived for his family and worked hard his whole life in the car business while being a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. Greco and Josephine Greco, and his nephew, J.J. Greco. He will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Paulette; his children Jodi Greco, Joseph Greco (Stephanie), Mallory Dillion (Brian) and Michael Italiano; grandchildren Kayla Gerlach, Jordan Greco, Mia Greco, Cameron Dillion, Chandler Dillion, Mallory Italiano, Grant Italiano, Ryan Italiano and Fiona Italiano; a great grandchild, Bryce "Mac" McGregor Gerlach IV; a brother, Jim Greco (Connie); several cousins and many friends. A special thanks from Joe's family is offered to the doctors and nurses at Florida Cancer Specialists and the Blue Team Nurses at Melech Hospice House. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec 5 from 1 – 3:30 PM, with a celebration of life at 3:30 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
