I hurt I cry I miss you like crazy! I was so proud to be your girlfriend. When you died a piece of my heart died with you! We valued every second we got with each other, now we know why. We both got to know what love was thru each other. If I knew how this would all end "I still would not have changed a thing." I loved Joseph with all my heart and he will forever be missed by me. Absent from rhe body is to be present with the Lord!  Though we did not speak much I know and believe from what I saw in you that you loved the Lord! It was evident... Your amen's were powerful!!! God bless you... You finished the race and  made a HOME RUN....

Joseph I will miss you. We both worked some of the same skills at TCS and often exchanged tips and helpful advice with one another as we heard from same of the same customers. I will miss that. Rest in peace.

Old friend, I have known you since I was a kid. For the last 7 years or so we have seen each other more often. I remember the time that I told you that I became a born again Christian, and your response was, I'm proud of you. That really touched my soul. From that time forward something special took place in our friendship. I remember having personal & spiritual conversations with you. I knew that God had a divine purpose in our friendship. I know that you are witnessing what we all desire to see one day, that is, His glory, splendor and everlasting love. We as the body of Christ understand that there is an afterlife in the presence of the living God. A place of no more tears or pain in a glorious and overwhelming presence of true forgiveness with the promises of the everlasting love of God. I will miss you texting me bible verses or just your own personal blessings over my life. Love you Bro. I know that the Master (Jesus) was preparing you for your journey to eternity (The Father is so faithful) where we all as Christians, put our trust in Christ will be one day. To Noemi, Iris, Nancy and Colon, I pray for blessings of great joy and peace that only the Holy Ghost can give in a time of losing a loved one. Jesus came to give us life and that life more abundant with the promise of eternal life (John 14:1-6)  for those who will believe.

I texted to his phone Tuesday night, "I'm going to miss you, buddy.  Rest in peace."  Joe called everyone "bro" when he spoke to them.  He was genuine.  He made you feel like you were his "girl" even if you weren't.  He had mischief in his eye.  Loved hearing the story of seeing the "white light".  I'm sure he's gone to that "white light" this time.  We'll all join you one day, my friend, these tears won't last long.  We know you would want us to celebrate your life rather than bemoan the why and how of your passing.  It's always in God's timing.  He called you home, it was time.  Your work here is through although you will be greatly missed and I hope you know you were loved!

Joseph, you had a very sweet soul, I will miss you.

I know in my heart Joseph had fulfilled all his duties here on earth. It was his time to be called home. He became my best friend, we had talked about every thing. When he left he took a piece of my heart, soul, and love with him. I will miss him forever, but I am so thankful to have met him and had him as a part of my life. Joseph loved all of his family and friends very deeply. He was a good man and I am proud to say he was my best friend.

Joseph was the last call that I received at work on Tuesday before I left for home.  He was a great person and a lot of  fun to work with.

To my brother that liked to call his sisters "Meat head" May you rest and have peace and joy now. We have been through so so many things in life and no matter what are struggles have been it all ends the same way. If we could just learn to live happier and have peace in our hearts the journey would be easier. Some roads are harder to cross than others, but we have to put up a fight to succeed. Again the end is the same we all have to die. Though death is a mystery I hear it is a better place than what you have left behind, so they say. You have been set FREE and have joined Mom. We will be together again one day, so they say. I will miss your nice smile and I will miss your crazy stories, I will miss you.

Para la familia de Joe Colon. Mi mas sentido condolencias en su pérdida. Joe era mi compañero de trabajo y lo saludabamos todo los dia. El era tremendo relajon (como lo soy yo) y tal vez, pues no llevabamos muy bien. Todavia no puedo creer lo sucedido. Pero el ha sido llamado por nuestro Senor Jesucristo y ahora es un "angel"..Los tendre en mi pensamientos..En paz descanse mi amigo. Te extrañaremos un monton !!

On Aug. 14, 2012 my brother left to be with the Lord. It came so unexpected but it just proves that we are but a vapor one day here the next we are gone. I will miss his quirky sense of humor and infectious smile not to mention his lack of censorship. I thank God that  i will see him again. We will see you again in heaven "meat head''.
