Joseph Anthony Catania

June 24, 1931 - June 30, 2020

Joseph A. Catania was born in New York on June 24, 1931. He entered Heaven's Gate on June 30, 2020. His wife Marie had predeceased him in 2019.

Joseph proudly served his country in the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He worked in Retail Management for most of his career.

Joseph was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers. He also appreciated fine cuisine and had frequented many of the finest restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. Joseph had a big generous heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joseph is survived by his brother Neil, and by his son's Joseph, Peter & Paul Catania. He had 7 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Joseph's family will have a Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 15, 2021 at 02:00pm at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33618.

A celebration of Joseph's life will be at Donatello's Restaurant, 232 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33609, from 3:30 - 5:30pm.

Hors d' oeuvres and drinks will be served.
