Joseph Alvarez Jr.

Joe was born on December 4, 1942. He was born and raised in Tampa, FL. He was a jack of all trades, an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and enjoyed raising chickens. Joe was the patriarch of his large family and drew the greatest joy from being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Angie Alvarez; his sons Eddie and Joey; his sister, Angie and his nephews, Billy and Brian. He is survived by his loving, devoted soulmate and wife of 55 years, Cathy; his siblings, Edward Alvarez, Ydilio Alvarez (Teresa) and JoAnn Register; his grandchildren Danny, Brittany (Chris), Briana (Sean), EJ, Nikki, Joseph, JoJo, Jordan, Jesse, Jacob, Julian, Taylor, Tristan and Trey; his cherished great-grandchildren Autumn, Saige, Christopher “Buddy”, Aleya, Alani, Isabella, Sterling, Joel, Yadiells, and Brennan; 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

Joe loved his family deeply and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
