Jose was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He moved to New York City in October 31, 1970 and then eventually settled here in Florida. Jose was a man who loved his family, loved God and loved America. He enjoyed eating good food and loved snacks. Jose enjoyed being around good company and to joke around with the people around him.
Jose is survived by his wife; Francisca Valdez, his son; Andy Valdez, his daughter Annie Valdez and his two grandchildren; Sophia Valdez and Lucas Valdez.
A visitation for Jose will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614. A prayer service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614. A burial will occur Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Garden Of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610.
