Jorge Zambrana passed into history on September 21, 2023. He was 100 years old. Born on April 22, 1923 he saw many changes and lived a very full life.
He is survived by his wife, Fabiola; daughter, Norma; son, Jorge Jr.
Jorge was the Chief Steward on a ship for thirty years and retired to Florida in the 1970s and lived very happily in the Town and Country section of Tampa.
All his neighbors loved him and all the neighbor’s children grew up knowing he would help them and he would play with them, and at his recent 100th birthday party they all showed up and honored his love and life.
A visitation for Jorge will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 2-6 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida, followed by a funeral service at 4:30 p.m.
