Jorge was born in Cuba on April 19,1960 and immigrated to the United States that same year with his mother, father, aunt, uncle, and cousin. He attended elementary and high school in Newark, NJ. After his family moved to Tampa, Florida, he also attended Erwin Vocational Technical School. Jorge worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 17 years. His passions were sports and music. He grew up a Buffalo Bills and a New York Yankees fan and always held those clubs near and dear to his heart. He also followed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Jorge Ioved music, especially rock and roll. While he had a wide range of music that he listened to, his favorite band was always KISS. He collected all of their albums and a lot of their memorabilia.
Jorge will be remembered as a loving son and brother. He could always be counted on by his family whenever and for whatever.
Jorge is preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Florentino Morales, his beloved mother Daisy Morales, his loving aunt Dionisia Sarduy, and his uncle Raymond Sarduy with whom he shared a special bond. He was also preceded in death by his brother David Morales.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Yusimi Morales, his brother Mario Morales (Cheri), his nephews Alex and Aidan and niece Ava,his beloved cousins Delfi Oertel and Milagros Sarduy and their families of New Jersey.
