Born on April 3rd, 1969 in Tampa, Jonathan was the loving son of John and Susan Crouse. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was a lifelong resident of Tampa. Professionally, Jonathan excelled in his career in the grocery business with Kash n’ Karry/Sweetbay and most recently with Acosta. His hard work, expertise, and dedication were recognized by colleagues and clients alike.
As a husband, father, son, and brother, Jonathan was the epitome of love and devotion. He dedicated his life to the happiness and well-being of his family, and his love knew no bounds. His actions spoke louder than words, and he consistently demonstrated his devotion through his selflessness and care.
Beyond his family, Jonathan was an exceptional friend. He possessed a unique ability to make others feel seen, heard, and understood. His charismatic personality and genuine interest in people allowed him to cultivate lifelong friendships effortlessly. Jonathan's friendships were characterized by laughter, support, and countless adventures.
Jonathan enjoyed spending quality time with his family and close friends. His passions included cruising, woodworking, watching movies, grilling, and shopping. He was the life of the party and brought laughter to all that knew him.
Jonathan will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He brought joy and laughter to every gathering and made lasting connections that will be treasured. His departure has left an immense void in the lives of all who knew him, but his memory will live on forever.
Jonathan is preceeded in death by his mother, Susan Crouse. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne Martino Crouse, his daughters, Chelsea Fredrickson and Mackenzie Crouse, his father, John Crouse, and his sister, Shawn (Ruben) Alfaro. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews and many other close family members that he loved. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by his family members, his extended family friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 20th from 2-5pm at Florida Avenue Brewing (2029 Arrow Grass Drive, Wesley Chapel, Florida). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sarcoma Clinic at Moffitt Cancer Center in honor of Jonathan (https://www.moffitt.org/give/) or to the family to help with the continuation of Mackenzie’s higher-level education (https://gofund.me/d28fc631).
