Vento, John R., 71, of Tampa passed away on February 28, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son, John. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Diane; sons, Brian Vento and wife Teresa of Georgia and Michael Vento and wife Chasity of Tampa; siblings, Joseph Vento and wife Mary Ann of Sarasota, Karen Vento of New York and Raymond Vento of New York; and grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Michael, and Nathaniel. Born and raised in New York, John moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2003 from New Mexico. Family will receive friends from 6-8 on Tuesday, March 5 at the Blount & Curry, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa. A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday, March 5 at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors in John’s memory.
