I've always admired Mike for being such a genuinely pleasant person.

We really are blessed to have had the opportunity to know him.

Steve and I were neighbors in 2005 and our children Drew, Jack, and Evander grew up together in their younger years with Madeline and Ellie. We have so many memories of swimming together, building a play tower for the kids in our joining backyards, cul-de-sac parties and field day events, baseball games, violin concerts, sporting events and SO much more... Laughing, loving and caring deeply  for  each other’s families.  We will never lose sight of the joy the Polasky family brought to us. We will cherish our greatest memories and use them as comfort knowing Mike is in a peaceful place walking beside Our Savior.. We are here to offer prayers, friendship, support, a meal or a phone call, a text, or a visit today, tomorrow, next week and for years to come for you Jeanine, Madeline, Ellie, Evelyn and all other family members who are grieving Michael’s passing.  Remarkably in the past 2 days.. 5 Monarch Butterflies (2) on day one emerged in my habitat and I released all 5 of them into nature today naming them: Mike, Jeanine, Madeline, Ellie and Evelyn. 



My wife Heather and I met Mike on our first jobs fresh out of college. He was funny, quick with a smile and a laugh, and one of the most genuinely good natured people I’ve ever had the honor of knowing. Heather and I were both saddened to hear of his passing and want to extend our deepest sympathies to Mike’s family, especially Jeanine and their daughters. All of us who knew Mike are better for it. He will be missed.

While I've only worked with Mike for a short period at Hannover we are so saddened by his passing.   I will remember his great smile, intellect, and kind manner.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mike. Sending love and strength to his family and friends from his Hannover Re family in the US and Bermuda.
