Joanna Elizabeth Mulder

Joanna Elizabeth Mulder, APRN, PhD, age 69, of Valrico, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 11th 2024. She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Bruce; daughter Stephanie (Roger), son Charles Erik and stepson Bentley; her grandson, Jack; her brothers Sam & Jonathan; her step-grandchildren, Lucy & Thomas and step-great grandchildren Declan & Hugo. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Russell & Mary.

Born February 9th 1955, Joanna was a native of Tampa, Florida. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Joanna was a family medical & psychiatric nurse practitioner who owned & operated her own practice and served hundreds of members of the community for over 30 years. Her dedication to the most medically needy members of the community is a testament to her caring nature and generous spirit. She was an active member of the Krewe of Pandora for years which further allowed her generous nature to shine as she was able to aid in charities for children and the elderly. Her greatest pleasure in life was being surrounded by the company of her friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 4th 2025 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL, 33610. The family will receive visitors at 11am with the service to follow at noon.
