Jimmie Scaglione

SCAGLIONE, Jimmie, 91, of Wesley Chapel, formerly of Tampa, beloved husband of Frances (Clementi) Scaglione, died peacefully, Monday, November 13, 2017 in the care of Hospice. He was a Tampa native, a graduate of Hillsborough High School Class of 1944, and a WWII Navy Veteran. He worked for 27 years as a letter carrier in Tampa and was a member of NALC Branch 599. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter Jamie Overton (Ken); son John (Mona); grandchildren Denise, Kenny, Jarrett, and Jessica; great grandson Jack; and brothers Frank and Peter Scaglione; and extended, loving family. He was predeceased by parents Alex and Josephine; and son Jimmie. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation Saturday, November 18, 2017 between 4 and 5 PM at Blount & Curry at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, followed by Memorial Service at 5 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Flowers are accepted or you can donate to Melech Hospice House or the charity of your choice in his name.
