Dr. Jeffrey Ray Lash D.M.D. unexpectedly entered peaceful rest on Friday June 21st, 2024. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his son Andrew, his brother Tom, and parents Sarah and Ray Lash.
He was born in Elwood City, Pennsylvania on April 21,1949. His formative years were spent with his family and playing baseball in the summer intramural leagues. Jeff also played baseball on the Lincoln High School Team and graduated in 1967. Jeff then attended The University of Pittsburgh and Pitt. Dental School, receiving his D.M.D in 1974. Following graduation, he relocated to Tampa, Florida where he started his dental practice. Dr. Lash was passionate about his career, helping his patients and the community. Jeff spent many years volunteering his dentisity skills at The Judeo Christian Coalition Clinic. He always sought to further his knowledge of the field.
Jeff thought the world of his family. He was a cherished father to his surviving son Kyle Lash, wife Sasha and their sons, Kaeden, Kollin and Koen. Andrews surviving children, Kelli, Cameron and Talon. His stepson Jeffrey Wheelis, wife Nadine and children, Brandon, Matthew and Taylor. His brother Tim Lash, wife Cheryl and their daughters Sarah and Leanna. His niece Heather and many additional cousins and lifelong friends.
Jeff was also a devoted sports enthusiast and he always enjoyed supporting his hometown teams. In his free time, he loved playing golf, tennis, snow skiing and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
A celebration of life will take place July 21st from 2:00-5:00pm.
