I am so saddened by the loss of my friend Jeanette and pass condolences on to the family and others who knew her. She was such a wonderful person in all ways. After over forty years at the post office some of my most memorable times are the mutually symbiotic work efforts I had with Jeanette through some very challenging periods in Training. She would pick up where I left off and I would do likewise for her until we got the tasks completed. She was a true collaborator with good humor and spirit and serious about doing the best job possible. We also had fun outside of work such as sharing meals and talking for hours over the near daily phone calls. She was so very thoughtful to send various holiday cards consistently each year, order our group’s pecans as well as many, many other kind efforts throughout the year that demonstrated her special friendship. I will sorely miss her kind spirit. 

I am so sorry for your loss.  You Mom was always so sweet and kind.   While I only saw her every once in a while over the last years, she would always take the time to talk with me and catch up on my family and my life.  I will always remember her smile and her easy laugh.  Heaven has gained another angel and she is no doubt shining bright.  Much love to all of you.

Where do I even begin about Jeanette?  I was introduced to Jeanette when I went back to work at the P&DC, so many years ago.  Jeanette worked with my Dad, Bob Spagna but he may be the only person to have called her Viola.  LOL!  I think only Bob could get away with that.  Jeanette kept in touch with me through every state I lived in, even came to visit me in NC and took Elaine with her!  The adventures Jeanette would share and always so positive about everything.  She taught me so much.  How to keep my patience level in tact.  How not to make faces and show my intolerance level at times and to just smile and work through a situation.  We worked the Tour 3 shift and sometimes here comments would make me laugh!  Like the time she said, "Laura, your hair looks terrible.  What on earth did you do?"  Or asking me what I did all morning as I looked tan.  We had some awesome conversations and she never missed a birthday card or holiday card.  Jeanette, I will miss you so much, especially that you became a surrogate Mother to me during these last years when I was no longer able to converse with my Mother.  We will see each again one day!  No illness, pain or suffering in that next life!  Love to all of your family members.  Bob said not to case any mail up there in heaven and to save it for him.  He sends his regards!

My prayers to the family!  I worked with Jeanette at the PO about 40 years ago.  We used to sit on the rest-bar and case mail talking about our kids.  She use to talk about when her sons would get in trouble and we just laugh 😄.  She was determined to raise great sons , and she truly did!!!  We worked on the Canada crew and had so much fun on that LSM machine!   She has always been a praying God fearing woman, and EVERY year on the different holidays, she would send me a card.  She did my taxes, she introduced me to the strawberry field near her home, order our pecans, and we would go out for dinner with the Post Office friends.  I loved her dearly and she will truly be missed 🙏. What a great friend she was to me and I thank God for allowing our path to cross 😇. Thx  Nita

So sorry just heard news of Jeanette passing.  The few times our paths crossed, she would put a smile on my face by saying something funny but she was also serious and took her job at post office serious..my prayers to family during this sorrowful time.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Jeanette’s family. Prayers for peace and God’s healing touch go out to you also. And hugs because that’s how Jeanette always greeted her friends and family.  May you find peace knowing Jeanette is in God’s loving care for eternity and she is happy being with Him. She’s at peace and smiling down on you all and is sending her love to you.

Jeanette was one of the kindest souls I have ever known. We met at work in 1985 and she was such a  joy to know. I felt blessed to have a friend like her.  I will always treasure memories of  her friendship and of times together.  The world has lost a wonderful lady but heaven has gained a loving angel.  

Jeanette worked with me in the Training Office at the Post Office.  She was an excellent trainer and was so helpful in training new employees.   It was a pleasure to know her and have her working in the Training Office.

To her family members, I offer my deepest sympathy in your loss.  May each of you know that many people are keeping all of you in their prayers, as I am.
