Osborne, Jean Mary. 84, of Brooksvile, FL. (formerly of Tampa) passed away Tuesday December 15th at Tampa General Hospital. Jean was born in Morgantown, W.Va and grew up in Lewisburg, W.Va . After moving from Michigan, she and her husband purchased and operated Osborne’s Shell Service on Gandy Blvd. in Tampa for 33 years. She was bookkeeper and office manager until their retirement in 1989. They sold their home in Tampa and moved to a retirement community in Valrico, Fl. She then travelled all over the United States on Penske business trips with her husband who drove the trucks. They were accompanied by their four legged critters. After her husband’s passing in 2008 she moved to Brooksville, FL to be closer to family. Jean was a woman who loved her church, life, family and football. She never missed a Tampa Bay Bucs game if she could help it. Her love and devotion to her husband and family was her top priority in life. She was a mother not only to her daughters but to relatives and neighborhood friends. She was very active and her kind heart will be deeply missed. Jean Osborne is survived by two daughters, Cindy & husband Bob Young of Port St. Lucie, FL, Linda and husband Chuck Schneider of Brooksville, FL; Six grandchildren, Christopher and wife Lisa, Jenny, Eric and wife Sarah, Jason and wife Ashlie, Chad & wife Jennifer, Travis, and six great grandchildren. Also, like her own children dear to her heart, nephew Gary Gwinn & family, and niece Crystal Gwinn & family; She is survived by two sisters, Janet and Sandra, and two brothers Jimmy and Samuel. In addition to her parents and sister Joan, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert Osborne. Visitation will be Friday December 18, 2015 from 10 - 11am at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church,200 Mount Fair Ave Brooksville, FL 34601. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the church. A graveside service will be held at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa at 4pm on December 18, 2015.
