88, of Tampa, passed away on Saturday, October 24th. Born and raised in Lincoln County, GA, he graduated from Lincolnton High School. He served in the USAF in WWII and attended airline school in Kansas City, MO. He was employed in the commercial airline business for 40 years with USAir, formerly Piedmont Airlines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lovinah Porter Kendrick; and sister, Gene Harris. He is survived by his wife, Winifred Kendrick; daughter, Karen Kendrick Yonaley; grandson, Brian (Marcia) Yonaley; granddaughter, Julie (Michael) Bonnema; three great granddaughters: Eva and Keira Yonaley, and Kayla Bonnema; sisters, Ouida Stinson and Frances Holloway; brother-in-law, Charles Harris; former son-in-law, Ronald Yonaley; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th from 10:30-11:30am with a service to follow at 11:30am at Blount & Curry, 605 S. MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609, 813-876-2421. Burial will be in Marietta, OH.
