Rev J.M. Garrett, 73, formerly of Indianapolis, and a 32 year resident of Tampa, went home to be with the LORD on October 25, 2014. As a loving father, grandfather and brother, he will be greatly missed by his two sons James Morris II, & Jonathan Matthew of Tampa one daughter Jane Michelle of Winter Park, 3 grandchildren Jonathan Michael, ANGELina Zoe Jayne and Isabella Daisy Jayne and one sister Barbara King. For almost 60 years he served the LORD. He is preceded in death by his parents; Glenda Garrett, his wife of 38 years; one brother and two sisters. Arrangements by Northgate Baptist Church, 1301 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa. Viewing: Saturday, November 1, 11:00 - 1:00 and services at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in Hillsborough Memorial, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Northgate Baptist Church Mission Fund.
