BRADSHAW, James Oscar, 82, of Tampa, passed away on February 3, 2021 at his home. He was born in Pedro, OH on March 21, 1938 and moved to this area in 1986. Before retiring, he worked as a mechanic, while investing many volunteer hours maintaining the buses and serving as an usher for Calvary Chapel Baptist Church, in Minster, OH, and continued that service at Westgate Baptist Church, after relocating to Tampa. He also taught shop classes and coached the basketball team for Maranatha Christian School, in Minster, OH. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending as much time with his family as possible. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of faith and love.
James is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn (Campbell) Bradshaw; their 8 children, Dave Bradshaw, Mike (Caelynn) Bradshaw, Christine (Jerry) Campbell, Kelli (Randy) Rhodes, Chuck (Kristen) Bradshaw, Mellissa Bradshaw Robledo, Jeff (Sabrina) Bradshaw, and Luke (Andrea) Bradshaw; 33 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mildred (Patton) Bradshaw, 1 grandson, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of James’ life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Noon, at West Gate Baptist Church, 5121 Kelly Rd., Tampa, FL, where a visitation will be held immediately prior to the service from 10am – Noon. A private, family graveside service will follow at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave., Tampa, FL.
