Mr. James R Boyer

89, of Tampa, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on August 16,2014. He proudly served with the Navy Seabees in World War II. He graduated from Hillsborough High School and the University of Florida. He retired after 42 years as a successful stockbroker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen and son William. He is survived by his wife Evangeline, his sons James Jr., Robert (Magalie), John (Tina) and his daughters Beverly Miller (Sonny), Nanci Wilson (Larry), Judithe Cohen and Sandra Cornett (Dwaine), 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a step daughter Annette and is survived by 3 step children, Sharon (Alan), Ed (Karen) and Peggy (Edward). He was greatly loved and will truly be missed. Funeral services will take place at Garden of Memories on August 23 at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
