Ismael Jose Coss

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ismael Jose Coss a bright and compassionate soul who left us too soon. Unexpectedly on March 17th 2025, at only 20 years years of age and born on April 29th 2004 in Tampa Florida, Ismael Jose Coss (Lil Ish or Papo) was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, boyfriend, and friend.

Lil Ish however, was not little. His spirit and love for life was enormous. He was known for his kindness, generosity, infectious smile, and love for family. He had a way of making everyone around him feel loved.

He graduated from Zephyrhills high School in 2022 and had prepared to embark on his next journey as a logistics engineer in the US Navy in April 2025 after his 21st birthday.

Ismael always approached life with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, basketball, video games, and discovering new experiences.

Ismael is survived by his loving parents Ismael Coss, Diana Guzman Coss, his siblings Ariyana Coss, Janise Bruno, Joshua Dueñas, Seancarlo Coss. Additionally, his grandparents Ismael Coss, Olga Coss, Jose Guzman, Anny Guzman, and a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Ismael will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Temple Terrace Community Church, located at 210 Inverness Ave, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
