Irmgard was born in Heilbronn, Germany, daughter of Paol and Berta Lischewski. There, she met her lovely husband, Arnold Cabaniss, and moved to Danville, Virginia.
Irmgard, Arnold and their three children laid their roots in Tampa, Florida in 1972. After her late husband’s passing, she met a wonderful man, William Page, and they shared 28 precious years of marriage.
She worked at Egypt Lake Elementary for 25 years and enjoyed the beach, dancing to polka music, and spending time with her family.
Irmgard was predeceased by her sister, Hildegard Todd, and her loves, Arnold Cabaniss and William Page.
She is survived by her sister, Doris (Werner) Riemann; her children: Sherren (Michael) Hooks, Andrew (Terri) Cabaniss, and Arleen (Gary) Lewis. She was a proud grandmother-Oma to: Eric Groom, Ashley (Bradley) Johnson, Breanna (Joshua) Ellis, Kayla Hooks, Nichole (Andrew) LeBarnes, Austin Cabaniss, and Matthew Lewis. She was a loving great-grandmother to: William Lebarnes, Lily and Miles Johnson.
Irmgard requested a family funeral service will be held 11am Saturday at the Garden of Memories and a celebration of life will be held in her honor. Irmgard-Oma will be dearly missed and always remembered.
