She was born in Wauchula, Florida on March 29, 1927 and is preceded in death by her parents, William Whidden and Essie Fradenburgh; husband of 56 years, Oral Hoyt Keeter; sister, Margaret Todd; and great-granddaughter, Sara Britt.
Iris is survived by her daughter, Deborah Keeter; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Beverly Keeter; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lutz and at various times in her life was a homemaker, mother, and business partner with her late husband.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2020 in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
