CINTRON, Ines, 73, of Tampa entered into rest September 13, 2010. Ines was a member of MacFarlane Park Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Florencio Cintron; three sons, David Cintron and wife Nancy Cintron, Daniel Cintron, Samuel Cintron and wife Alison Cintron; three daughters, Cynthia Cruz and husband Alfredo Cruz, Awilda Anderson and husband Robert Anderson, Ana Cintron-Perez and husband Luis Perez; thirteen grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Alfredo, Alisha, Jessica, Denise, Stephanie, Sarah, Gabriele, Taina, Samuel, Analis, Vashti. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Gonzalez Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to MacFarlane Park Baptist Church in Ines’ memory.
Ines Cintron was a modest woman, quiet and observant in her ways. She was trustworthy and traditional in her approach to her life and in her relationships. She was tough-minded with the kind of “stick to it” attitude that earned the respect of all who knew her. She was also a woman who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything she undertook. Realistic about life, she was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility. She was always a happy and cheerful person. A very giving person and always put others before herself. She always enjoyed making people laugh.
She was born in San German, Puertro Rico on April 21, 1937. She was the daughter of Fermin and Victoria Lugo.
Compassionate and loyal, Ines was committed to making her new family happy. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to be around her grandchildren and was very much a part of their lives. They will forever have memories of their loving grandmother. She was married to Florencio Cintron for fifty-one years.
Ines worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Ines was blessed with six children, three sons, David, Daniel, Samuel; three daughters, Cynthia, Awilda, Ana. Another blessing for Ines was the gift of thirteen grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Alfredo, Alisha, Jessica, Denise, Stephanie, Sarah, Gabriele, Taina, Samuel, Analis, Vashti.
Ines’s faith was important to her. She was a member of MacFarlane Park Baptist Church.
Ines passed away on September 13, 2010 at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Florencio Cintron; three sons, David Cintron and wife Nancy, Daniel Cintron, Samuel Cintron and wife Alison; three daughters, Cynthia Cruz and husband Alfredo Cruz, Awilda Anderson and husband Robert Anderson, Ana Cintron-Perez and husband Luis Perez; thirteen grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Alfredo, Alisha, Jessica, Denise, Stephanie, Sarah, Gabriele, Taina, Samuel, Analis, Vashti. Services were held at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Ines was laid to rest in Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, Florida.
Simply stated, Ines was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Ines leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Ines Cintron.
