Mrs. Helga Margarete Chandler

Chandler, Helga M, 62, of Tampa, joined the Lord in heaven on August 11, 2017. Born in Obernzenn, Germany, Helga moved to Tampa where she has lived for 38 yrs. She was very active and loved to walk. She had a green thumb and loved to garden in her yard and go out searching for ancient artifacts with family and friends. Helga is survived by her loving children; sons, Holger Schmidt and Jahn (Tara) Chandler, grandsons, Jared Schmidt and Dustin Oestriech, brother, Reinhart (Gabriele) Schmidt, her mother, Gertrude Schmidt, several very loved nieces and nephews and former spouse and friend, Dale Chandler. She is preceded in death by her father Heinrich Schmidt, sister Renate Pulay, and beloved daughter-in-law, Krista Schmidt. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Helga's life 3:00 pm,Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Blount & Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa.
