Dear, The boonstoppel family I am truly sorry for the loss of your beloved son Harrison he was a amazing friend with a great personality. Me and Harrison had a few classes together including band and both had a deep passion for drums as we took turns in class. I will miss him truly and I am still in shock of him not being here , I appreciate you guys letting me embrace such a great guy and I couldn’t thank you enough my prayers and condolences go to you guys during this tough time but just always remember he’s watching down on all of us And forever in our hearts I enjoyed the funeral very nice and just a good way to remember The good times I hope you guys find some comfort and peace from it

Dear Karel, Brucie, Nicholas and Ava, 
I’am so very sorry for the loss of your son Harrison. His grandparents Herman and Miep loved him very much. Especially his grandpa showed me pictures and video’s any time he could, and that was very often. Harrison became the boy loved by everyone. I know that Harrison is now in Heaven by those who passed away and will take care of him.
Harrison will always be in my heart.

When I think of Harrison, I picture his contagious 1000 watt smile.  He was one of the happiest, most positive people I’ve had the pleasure to be around.  Every time he came over to our house, he brought in a sense of joy and fun!  Some of my most favorite memories of Mikey’s childhood include Harrison.  I can still remember Harrison coming to Mikey’s parties and breakdancing and doing the “worm”. It’s a very vivid and happy memory for our family.  I spent time volunteering at Roosevelt- both in the EELP program and grade school classes.  Harrison was always happy and engaged- again just a joy to be around.  I remember Mikey sitting next to him in classes and assisting Harrison with some of the louder days (when it was challenging to hear the teacher through the implant and/or read lips).  Even in those everyday “scholastic moments”Harrison always had the absolute best attitude and a smile on his face.  Our entire family (Mikey’s siblings included) adored Harrison.     I feel simple words are so inadequate at this time.  I am so sorry that I cannot find the words to express what a shining star Harrison was in this world.  Please accept my condolences for the loss of this incredible young man.

The tragic and devastating news about Harrison shocked us deeply and we think of Harrison and you all the time. 
Since Harrison and Ava were born, I always thought you were the best parents, brother, and sister ever for Harrison. 
You tackled all the problems and gave it all, and it was wonderful to see how Harrison became who he was: the athletic sweet, and funny guy.
From a little toddler who made miles on his knees with a toy car in the garden, full of excitement going through Car Magazine, to the proud owner of a Subaru Impreza that enjoyed life so much.
You could not have done it better. 
Harrison is epic for Sebastiaan and Eloïse. Seeing him doing a backflip is carved deeply in their memories and they always talk about that when his name is mentioned.
Please share the love you have for him with each other.

We will always remember Harrison.

Nice picture from Harrison and his cousin Stijn from the Netherlands. We visited Tampa in 2019 and met Harrison and family. A very spontaneous and happy boy by that time. Eager to learn the world.

Even though we met Harrison just a couple of times,  we had good conversations  with him about anything and we can see that he is an excellent young man and always remembered him. I can't believe this has happened! Brucie you and I go way back, from Coleman Jr. High, thru Plant, then a decade at the dance studio will Jill. I  watched you go through the entire pregnancy and remember when the twins were born. I cannot possibly imagine the unbearable loss. My heart goes out to you all and my prayers  that God gives you comfort and strength. There are no words that can encompass the pain I know you are feeling. I’ll never forget when my son Angelo met Harrison at Pepin. My son was so excited to meet someone who liked cars as much as he did. Brucie would always comment at how small he looked next to my son. I told her one day he’ll grow and be as tall as Angelo. At a school function, I was surprised to see how tall Harrison did become. Harrison is such a sweet, & kind person. My heart breaks for the Boonstoppel family. My condolences.

I went backpacking with Harrison & friends on the Appalachian trail for a few days. It was one of the most fun trips I’ve ever been on, and I’m so glad that I was able to do that with Harrison before it was too late, definitely one of my favorite memories of him. You will be missed Boon ❤️

I believe this was your 14th  or 15th birthday. We had a tradition that lasted 3 years straight. You would sleep at my house the night leading into your birthday. Miss you buddy. Will never forget me and you sneaking out❤️

You helped shape me into the educator I am today. You taught me patience and forced me to learn a child’s needs to better understand how to help them learn. For that, I’m forever grateful. You were an amazing kid and I’m honored to have known you.
