I meet Wright in 1999 when I started working at Coastsl Unilube where he was a sales representative.   He was always a kind, caring and loving man and would do anything for you.  Wright and I became very good friends and attended many concerts together.  I will always cherish those memories.  RIP my dear special friend.   Prayers for continued comfort and peace to his son Clint, granddaughters and family.

You were my best friend for 39 years and will forever be my guardian angel.  I’m not sure when the tears will stop flowing, but I know you are no longer hurting and in a better place. Fly high my dear friend.   I know you will be watching over Clint, the girls, Jill and Gail.  Loved you always and will forever. 

I flew into Tampa on February 3rd. During the flight I thought about looking “Griner” up.  The morning of February 5th I looked  up the address and was going to reach out to him but instead found his death announcement.  Wright was so good to me at a time in my life I needed him the most.  His entire family was so special.  So many laughs….. it’s sometimes hard to appreciate those who have a huge impact in your life until you get older.  Griner, you have been a light, a friend, a protector in so many lives.   Rest In Peace my friend …. Hoping the music plays on❤️  Clint, Jill and Gail, my deepest sympathy 

Friends since we were 15 years old.  Wright, you will be sorely missed by many especially me.  Thank you again for all your kindness and friendship you've shown me over these many years.  Sending prayers, love and hugs to you up in heaven. xoxo

It’s been several years scenes I had seen you, and in 1978 I had the pleasure to meet you and your beautiful loving family. 
You were always a kind and caring man who truly loved his family and friends. l will always remember the wonderful great times we all had together.  You became a great dad to Clint who I had the pleasure to teach when he was in high school. Everyday Clint was in class I thought of you and your family. Clint by far was one of my best students with a great caring personality just like you.

It was an honor and privilege to have known Wright as a classmate at Leto High School. He has maintained friendships with many of our same classmates throughout the years.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I have known his son, Clint and his  sister Jill for many years.  I pray God gives them comfort in their fond memories. I love you guys and know the loss of Wright is great but please receive comfort in knowing  he is no longer suffering and is at peace.
