Greta H. Meeks, 76, died peacefully in her home April 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Meeks. She is remembered with love by her children, Tina Ann Gurskey, Charles Wesley Owen III; grandson, Brian Augustus Haseloff; granddog, Teddy; brother, Gerald Tavares; sisters, Priscilla Trimmier and Gloria Owen; nieces, nephews; stepchildren; and many dear friends. Greta had so many fine qualities for which she will be long and well remembered. She had a tremendous work ethic. As the owner of Meeks Realty, she excelled, working as a realtor continuously for decades, from an early age until just last year. She was as well exceedingly generous, always giving of herself to family and friends. To those who had the pleasure of knowing her, she will be dearly missed. A private memorial service was held at Garden of Memories for family members.
