Later on, they decided to move to New York and were blessed with their two daughters, Madeline Ball and Minerva Newton, born in January 1948 and April 1951, respectively. Having a great love for Christ, Gloria decided to continue her education in the ministry by studying and graduating from the Bible institute on New York in 1965. After living in New York for some time, they moved to Florida in 1970. A few years later, she and Joseph took in their granddaughter, Tina, who they raised as their own daughter. During this time, Gloria was very active in the church. She was involved in various ministries such as the Royal Rangers, Sunday School, and the choir. She was also a member of la Luz del Mundo. The culmination of her ministry was when she became a licensed minister under the Assemblies of God where she served for 33 years. In September 1994, her husband of 51 years passed away. In September 2015, her youngest daughter, Minerva, also passed away. Gloria is survived by her oldest daughter, Madeline; five grandchildren, Tina Delgado, Alisha Nesbitt, Willie Newton Jr., Don and David Ball; and five great-grandchildren, Katrell Newton, Keith Nesbitt Jr., Kaden Nesbitt, Jada Delgado, and Hannah Delgado.
