Officer Arnold, you will be so missed.  I always looked forward to seeing you at Tampa Theatre -- that beautiful smile and your warm presence!  You were truly one of a kind.  I am sad because I will never see you again.  But I am so thankful to have known you and will always have a smile just thinking of you at the Theatre.  Big hugs to you and your family.

Fred was an amazing person to know. His friendship was a gift that will never be forgotten.

Their is so much I can say about Fred but the one thing that I will never forget about him is the type of person he was.  The five years I knew Fred, I never saw him upset. If something was wrong with you, he would pull you to the side and ask how can he help.  He was just that type of person. Being a police officer was his passion but being a family man was his priority. Our last words were that he and I plus another squad mate were going on a dive once he returned from Nevada.  We will do the dive and rest assure that Fred will be there with us.  Watch over us and rest in peace my brother because you deserve everything that God has waiting for you.  I will miss you bro and your smile and laughter.

I saw officer Fred Arnorld recently with family he brought his kids to Dr .Castellvi he was happy and looking foward to take his daughter to college...he always had a smile..he will be dearly missed...R.ip.

It's hard to know where to start when you talk about Fred. We shared a lot of  laughs and smiles during the many years as squad mates. We handled so many calls for service together.  That crazy laugh of his would make me nuts. It was infectious but it was all Fred. His message on his phone was just as bad but it was Fred. I told him a hundred times he needed to change it. He would laugh and keep it the same. He always had a smile for you and a cheery hello.  I could go on and on about Fred but I will keep the rest of my memories close to my heart. Rest in peace my brother. Till we meet again Fred and share another hug. You will always be in my thoughts.

I grew up with Fred and he was always a great guy.  I know how much he valued family.  My condolences  to the family.  You are in my prayers.

I was very fortunate to have known Fred.  He was just such a great guy! and an incredible father. Still processing the fact that someone so full of life and goodness is gone. Fred will be sorely missed by all. We have definitely lost one of Tampa's finest.  My family and I want his children to know they are all in our prayers.

MPO Arnold was my Field Training Officer (FTO) at the Tampa Police Department. He was very detailed in the way he taught and ensured when you left him you were equipped with many tools to gain confidence in the job. He taught in a manner to put you at ease while going through such a vigorous program. After completing the program and starting my solo career at Tampa Police Department, MPO Arnold checked in on me quite often. We would laugh about the "Rookie mistakes" I made while with him. He would always end those conversations with "But Look At You Now" along with his world famous laugh. 

He always reminded me of the importance of being professional to every individual I came into contact with while doing the job. I watched and picked up on how he was able to effectively do his job, but never disrespected anyone he dealt with. I loved that quality about MPO Arnold and implemented it in my own career.  

MPO Arnold will be greatly missed. He has placed a spark in so many lives his touched and will never be forgotten.

Fred was one of my Explorers in POST 275 when he was a teenager. He advanced through all of the offices as an Explorer Officer in his youth, and I was very proud of him. May the good Lord be with Fred's family, and bless you all.

I remember how supportive he was during one of the worst times of my life. He made jokes to make me feel better and always said things will be better.  I remember his laugh, you couldn't help but laugh with him.

    Officer Fred Arnold III occasionally worked directly with the Tampa Theatre while off-duty, yet he felt a full family member of the theatre staff. I cherish his humor and recall his detailed observations of our surroundings and his uncanny sense of duty as he kept his watch at our various functions. He is missed. Thank You Officer Fred.

Very good person . Met him in Grand Hampton Community clubhouse where he advised on community patrol .

I met Master Patrol Officer Fred Arnold back in 2007. He was my first Field Training Officer (FTO) with Tampa PD, and we were filmed together on the television show 'Rookies'. While in the training program,  I remember Fred always telling me, "Family first!" and "Whatever you do, don't quit!"

Fred helped in guiding me to be a good officer, husband, and father. I will always cherish the memories and lessons learned from MPO Fred Arnold. My family and I send our condolences and prayers to the Arnold family.
