Frank A. DiMarco, 77, of Tampa, passed away at home on April 4. He served in the US Air Force after graduation from Jesuit High School in 1956. He began his banking career in the proof department at First National Bank of Tampa in 1960. He retired after 33 years as Executive Vice President and Cashier of the bank and Secretary of the holding company. He was predeceased by his parents Tony and Theresa DiMarco. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joy DiMarco. He is also survived by his children Anthony (Mary Rose) of Tallahassee; Richard (Dana) of League City, Texas; Michael of Tampa; and seven grandchildren, Frank, James, Mary Joy, Richard Jr., Tiffany, Jack, and Chance. He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Peter) Scaglione. Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday at Blount & Curry 605 S. MacDill Ave. The funeral will be held at 10 am on Friday at Sacred Heart Church on Florida Ave. Burial service will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will then receive friends at their home. Pallbearers at the service are: Anthony DiMarco, Richard DiMarco, Michael DiMarco, Frank DiMarco, James DiMarco, and Richard DiMarco, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Scaglione, Chuck Zink, and Lee Herman.
