97, passed away April 23, 2018. She is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Maria Capitano of Santo Stefano, Sicily; husband, Gene McCrum; sisters, Theresa, Josephine, Mary; brothers, Nick, Al and Sam. She is survived by her sister, Angie Bissell; sons, Danny Freise and Terry Freise (Jan); grandchildren, Danny, Kyle and Matthew. Fran owned DeSoto Grocery Store in Palmetto Beach, Fran's Beauty Salon and Fran and Dan's. She was an active member of the Sons' of Italy and enjoyed bowling, cooking pasta for her family and playing cards with her brothers and sisters every Sunday. She also enjoyed spending time at her beach condo, casino trips and sewing. Fran was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be 10 am, Tuesday, May 1, Garden of Memories Funeral Home with burial services immediately following.
