Frances Louise Burke

She was previously a member of Temple Heights Baptist Church and during her career was a secretary at elementary schools as well as being a pre-k teacher at Temple Heights Christian School in Tampa. She was a graduate of Fletcher Senior High School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She was married for 49 years. She loved animals and going fishing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to laugh and go to Disney with her children, granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Donald, Dale and DeWayne Corbitt. Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years, DeWayne Burke; son, Aaron Burke; daughter, Kelly McFarland (Monte); brother, Dennis Corbitt (Teresa); sister-in-law, Alethea Corbitt and granddaughter, Meaghan McFarland. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Blount and Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. There is a limit for flowers at the Florida State Veterans Cemetery.
