Flora was born in Veguita, Cuba, the daughter of the late Dr. Ernesto Gonzalez and Evora Gonzalez. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida’s College of Pharmacy and worked as a Pharmacist in Tampa.
Flora was married for 30 years to the love of her life, Alan. She is survived by her husband, Alan Rodriguez; her children, Vivian Rodriguez and Alan Rodriguez, Jr., her mother Evora Gonzalez and her three sisters Raquel Gonzalez, Elena Hawson, Evorita Gonzalez and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2017, 5-8 p.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614. A Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, February 5, 2017, 1:30 PM, with interment to follow immediately at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, Florida.
