98, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10th. She is in Heaven with her Lord and family that proceeded her in death, including her most beloved husband of 72 years, A.B.; three year old son, Donald; her parents; and nine siblings. Fannie is survived by her son, Jerry (Babs) Revels, of Tampa; daughter, Betty (Fred) Wilson, of Seffner; grandchildren: Jerry (Jana) Revels Jr., Linda Hamrick, Greg (Deb) Revels, Lori (Darrell) Wilson, Fred (Nicole) Wilson; great-grandchildren: Mike, Jolee, Jerrica, Jaren Zachary, Shelby, Victoria, Tarah, Jacie, Remi, Samantha, and Savannah; great-great-grandchildren: Kayden, Payton, Paislee, Koleson, Dean, Layla, Hudson, and Harper. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin (Maxine) Brown. She loved her family and they cherished her.
Fond memories include her legendary root beer floats, the treat jars filled with candy (especially the circus peanuts), walks together, sleepovers, homemade banana ice cream, and sharing stories of her childhood on the farm. Family was her passion, especially when they came to visit, happily cooking their favorite meal or a quick run for pizza, McDonald's, or Long John Silver's. She was a pioneer in the recycling effort, reusing food containers and getting upset when they were thrown away.
Fannie was a proud member of Belmont Baptist Church, recently being honored as the most longstanding member. There, she volunteered for many years in the nursery, kitchen and anywhere a helping hand was needed. She treasured her church, in particular, her Sunday school class. She was a very special lady who will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her. Join in celebrating her life at Garden of Memories for a 10 a.m. visitation followed by an 11 a.m. service on Monday, March 16th. Interment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
