Eva Reina Antinori was called to heaven on Sunday, February 1, at age 95. For the past two and a half years she lived in North Carolina with her only daughter, Rena and son-in-law, John Ezzell. Eva was born and raised in Tampa where she shared 66 wonderful years married to Paul P. Antinori, who preceded her in death in 2005. Their life together was a living example of true love and marriage. Eva is also survived by her grandchildren Christine (Edward) Steinborn and Jack Ezzell (Shannon), eight great grandchildren, Lauren, Ryne, Matthew and Cooper Steinborn, Jackson, Ava Grace, Braden and Landon Ezzell, sister-in-law Jannie Antinori, nephews Dennis (Suzanne) Antinori, Dr. Dominick (Anna Rose) Reina, Rudolph (Sylvia) Reina, Sam (Sherry) Reina and niece, Judith (Irv) Bowen and other members of her extended family and many friends. Eva studied piano and was a member of the Federated Music Teachers Association and the Friday Morning Musical. She shared her gift of music with the many students she taught through the years in her career as a piano teacher. Eva enjoyed playing cards, was a great seamstress and a wonderful cook. Many family memories she created center around the dining table! Eva was a peacemaker, she had a gift of seeing the positive side of everything. She leaves with us many wonderful memories and her simple words of wisdom. One that is repeated often in the family is, “Everything in moderation.” In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions in Eva’s name be made to Four Seasons/Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
